Adrenal Washout Calculator
Evaluate adrenal masses. Calculate absolute and relative washout based on Hounsfield Units (HU) from non-contrast, venous, and delayed CT scans.

Interpretation Guidelines
I genuinely believe that diagnostic accuracy saves lives. When an adrenal mass is discovered, radiologists use "washout" calculations to determine if the mass is likely a benign adenoma or a more suspicious lesion.
Standard Criteria:
- Absolute Washout > 60%: Highly suggestive of a benign adrenal adenoma.
- Relative Washout > 40%: Suggestive of a benign adrenal adenoma.
- Non-contrast HU < 10: Usually diagnostic of a lipid-rich adenoma (no washout needed).
