Concrete calculator
Calculate exactly how much concrete you need for slabs, footings, or post holes. No more "eyeballing" it at the hardware store.
The "60-Bag" threshold
I genuinely hate seeing people try to mix more than 50 or 60 bags of concrete in a wheelbarrow for a single job. If this calculator tells you that you need more than 60 bags, call a ready-mix truck. Seriously. By the time you mix the 40th bag, you’ll be exhausted, and the first section of your slab will already be setting. You’ll end up with "cold joints" and a slab that cracks in six months.
Pro Tip: Rebar and mesh don't take up much space, but the inconsistent ground does. If you dig a hole for a post, it’s never a perfect cylinder. Always buy one or two more bags than you think you need—you can always return unopened bags, but you can’t "un-pour" a half-finished job.
