What is VO2 Max?

I genuinely believe that VO2 Max is the most important number you've never heard of. It measures how much oxygen your body can use during intense exercise. High VO2 Max isn't just for marathon runners—it’s linked to a much longer lifespan and better brain health as you age.

Pulse Method: This is a quick estimate based on your "Heart Rate Reserve." It's surprisingly accurate for most people. Rockport Test: This is a clinical standard. Walk one mile as fast as you can (no running!), then measure your pulse immediately. It's great if you aren't a runner but want a serious fitness check.
